Baby self weigh stations

There are a number of self-weigh stations in Hounslow which allow to check your baby’s weight to see if they are healthy and feeding well.

Self-weighing does not replace or affect any milestone or developmental checks that you will be offered.

Blood test for children 1 year to 13 years old at Heart of Hounslow

The Paediatric Phlebotomy Team takes routine and urgent blood samples from children from the ages of 1 to 13 years. If your GP has advised you to get a blood test for your child, please use the link below to book an appointment. You will need to create a SwiftQueue account before you are able to book. Please have the child’s blood test form with you as we will need your child’s NHS number and test details recorded on the form.

If your child has additional health needs or is nervous about the test, please select Children’s blood test with additional needs when booking. This will give them a longer appointment time. The use of EMLA cream is recommended. EMLA cream is used to numb the skin before medical needle procedures EMLA cream should be purchased over the counter at a pharmacy (so you do not need a prescription).
