NHS App
Find out about the services available in the NHS App, and how to access them using the app or the NHS website.
If your result is negative (normal), it will be sent directly to you via the NHS App, with a notification on your phone or tablet.
If you don’t open the message within 72 hours, a letter will still be posted to you as a backup. Any abnormal results will continue to be sent by post, just as they are now.
To get your results through the app, simply:
- Download the NHS App at www.nhs.uk/nhs-app
- Switch on notifications so you never miss an update
It’s a straightforward way to see your results sooner, securely, and in a way that works for you.
